Last week of summer freedom!
There are things I HAVE to get done this week.
I need to write this down so I can sort it out.

Tomorrow: get new passport photos taken and finish paperwork. Finally finish cleaning room.

Wednesday: EPIC END-OF-SUMMER TRIP TO SAN FRANCISCO WITH MAH BITCHES! Going to see Dark Knight in IMAX and mess around in the cityyyyyyyy!!!!!!

Thursday: Make new curtains, get rid of old desk, rearrange room.

Friday: I don't know! Maybe get supplies and everything ready for school or go look for bookshelves.

Weekend: Sit around and hope that this semester doesn't totally kick my ass.

Of course

My little brother is here for the week, so today we went to the beach. I took pictures and it was very nice.
On the way home, I was listening to my mp3 player. The song Laurel & Hardy came on, which is a song by Martha Wainwright about her little brother and fellow musical genius, Rufus. It's loving and touching and sickeningly sweet. It made me feel warm and fuzzy and nostalgic, so I turned to look at my brother Erik.
He was meticulously working on something in his notebook. I looked closer.
He was, slowly and with great concentration, writing "POOP" in the middle on an empty page.
Oh family.

The last few weeks have been crazy! I had a falling out with my crazy grandma and went to live with my mom for a little bit, and came back home about a week ago. Everything's alright for now, but it's not the best situation ever.
Friends have been coming and going too, so it's been a fairly busy month. Erin and I are preparing for a Rocky Horror showing on Friday, and I really need a new camera before Comic-Con. Oh, what to do...

I'm sort of preparing for England in the back of my mind. I think this is why I've been watching more British television in the past couple of months than ever before.
So...I guess that means that if, while in England, I decide to work in an office or time-travel or buy a really expensive car or pretend I'm married to get a good flat or have fantastic hair or go into a coma or become an extra or wake up in a spaceship 3 million years in the future, I'll be all set.

I have been very busy by being not-busy, if that makes any sense.
I was watching the house last week when my family went on their trip to Colorado. It was a bit lonely, but I watched a ton of movies and let my bunny run around and plotted a heist and all that fun stuff.
My neck is dead. It hurt so much when I woke up yesterday...I think someone was strangling me in my sleep. Probably Erik.
Speaking of that fiend, my little brother's main ringtone is currently The Final Countdown. I think I have been showing him too much Arrested Development.

Watching good things and playing with bunnies. That's the life.
Unless it feels like someone just kicked you in the neck repeatedly. D:

Wow, I have been asstasticly busy for the past few week. I finally passed the worst part of the schoolwork, though, and the semester is almost over. Jesus, it goes so fast when you're not paying attention. I think I bombed one of my classes, but the rest will probably be okay.
Okay. So. Catching up.
...I can't think of anything to say. I'm in the library right now, waiting to meet with one of my teachers to talk about declaring a minor. I'm gonna have to start declaring EVERYTHING soon. I don't see why I shouldn't be able to just shout my choice of major while standing on top of the student union and have that count, but alas, they force me to run around and do "paperwork". University fatcats!
I am making all the sense.

I have some interesting plans for summer. I will mention more later, when I really start to put them in motion. AND COMIC-CON WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP
In terms of fun personal stuff, I plan to draw a lot this summer. I can taste the improvement to come if I just keeping practicing....and it is entirely delicious.

I also have things to post. That will happen at some point.

Post 6 very random facts about yourself, then you tag 6 people on your friend list to do the same:

1) First that comes to mind, as it affects me all the time, is my strange taste aversions. I have very picky tastes in food which, combined with being a vegetarian, narrows my options quite a bit. It's ridiculous sometimes, but I really can't help it. My strangest aversion is the combination of fruit and bread-like foods. I cannot physically handle the taste of any pie, cookie, cake or other bakery items that have fruit in them. I just can't do it. When I try, I start to gag and feel sick. Same rule applies to chocolate and fruit. As far as I know, I've always been this way. D:

2) My mom and dad first met at a punk rock concert in San Francisco. My dad's band was playing.

3) When I was little, I used to make up songs and sing them to the ocean.

4) I once created my own religion.

5) One time in preschool I held a boa constrictor around my neck. :D

6) My family has its own psychiatrist. What I mean by that is: when I was young and my OCD started to surface, I went to the same psychiatrist who treated both my mother (for bipolar disorder in her teenage years) and my uncle (for depression when he was in college). Isn't that sweet.

Wow, hotel frenzy this morning. I'm surprised I managed to get ANYTHING, and sad that we couldn't get one on the shuttle route, but I guess the important thing is that we have hotel reservations. WE'RE GOIN' TA COMIC-CON!! YAYAYAYAAY!!!

Watching new box sets of House and Scrubs on a brand new laptop is a very nice way to start summer vacation.
*pets old laptop* Farewell, my love. We had some crazy times together.
Bitchin', crazy-ass, booty-slappin', child stabbin' times.
And if you tell anyone about it, I will kill you.

OH NO, WHAT HAVE I DONE
WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE

Grahhh!!! Finals are done and gone and dead forever. I still have no idea what I'm going to do now, but I'm sure I'll find ways to pass the time. Or I could, you know, get a job. Eep.

My birthday's on Friday, and I can't think of anything to do. Maybe I'll just dig a hole and sit in it all day for shits and giggles.

American Idol whut - very brief thoughts )

I made some changes to a picture I'm working on, but then my computer froze just as I was about to save.
I cannot get that new laptop soon enough. Then I shall write and draw pr0n aplenty.

Delicious.
In addition, I have porcupine fever. Like cowbell fever, but pointier.
metatronis: (Nudity is fun!)
Just one more day before I'm done with my classes. Aside from finals, of course, but those don't count. I can't wait to have summer get togethers. I know that sounds lame, but my backyard is awesome for summer activities.

Gah, my birthday is coming up so fast! I think I'm getting a new laptop, which would be great seeing as how more pieces of this one come off every time I use it.

I still don't know exactly what's going to happen this summer, but it'd better be fun times, or I'm going to punch the world in the face.
Plus! Reminder: if you want me to make my story available for free download, just ask. I have time to concentrate on other things now, so I need...stuff to do. Yar.
