NEW HAIR TIME
HEY EVERYBODY.
On Monday my hair was bleached (due to the collaborative efforts of
Erin and
Dani) and then dyed with pretty awesome results. Though, because I dyed it myself, I ended up with the top half of my body being virtually slathered in dye due to my recklessness and impatience. Erin says that the green on the back of my neck makes me look like The Hulk. Anyways, I present you with my festive, red and green hairs:

Choking on a toothpick.
Top layer is red; bottom is green. I am pleased.
Right now I find myself pondering something that I have often pondered in the past.
See, as far as I know, I'm not affected by caffeine. And I don't mean that I drank so much coffee or soda over the years that I'm now immune to it. I mean that I have never felt anything from ingesting caffeine, EVER. Sugar also seems to have no affect on me. When I was a child, I was always confused as to why my friends would act "hyper" simply by eating candy. That's not to say I've never been hyper before, but it's never occurred after the consumption of caffeine or candy. However, I have no idea what it feels like to be "wired", as the weasels say. Is it the same as when you feel hyper?
Anyways, my point is: can anyone else relate to this? I know this isn't incredibly rare as I've heard of similar cases before, but I'm curious about all y'all.

I have the opposite problem with caffeine. Since I never drank coffee before, it doesn't take a whole lot for me to be shaky and bouncing off the walls.

That's interesting...hmmmm...

I never got hyper or wired on caffeine or candy. Sometimes I get sugar headaches, though, if I eat something too grossly sweet. But hyper *because* of sugar? No. To me I think the difference between hyper and wired is that when you're hyper, you're generally happy about it, and when you're wired, you're just plain jittery and nervy and wanting to GO GO GO. But I dunno.

Yeah, that's what I always assumed the difference was. Though I have some friends who are obsessed with coffee, and they always seem really happy when they're caffeine buzzed. Maybe that's something to do with being addicted to it...
Weirdness.

SOMEDAY I PLAN TO DYE MY HAIR RED LIKE THAT. LITTLE MERMAID STYLE!

You should do it sometime! Even if you don't bleach it, it'll probably still come out pretty red.
