I was washing some pumpkin stuff down the drain and suddenly THE WHOLE FUCKING HOUSE STARTED SHAKING
I thought I'd broken the house or something
I'm proud that I ran to the nearest doorway and braced myself without thinking about it, since I wasn't near a table. I'm a well-trained California girl.
It wasn't THAT big, but I'm still shaking a bit.

Oh wow, it was a 5.6. The epicenter was near Alum Rock. Jeez.
