On the way to my car, I saw a guy shaving another guy outside one of the school buildings with an electric razor plugged into the wall. The shavee had a barber smock and everything. It's not that strange, but I dunno. Just two guys, late-afternoon, alone. Hey, let's shave.


Also, a resounding thank you to the teacher who assigned a book that made me cry for half an hour. Granted, it was a very good book, and it's not hard to make me cry, but still.

What book were you assigned?

It's called Monique and the Mango Rains, and it's basically an account of a woman who lived in a village in Mali as a Peace Corps volunteer for two years. Her host was this young woman named Monique who was the village midwife/doctor. The ending is pretty sad, but it's a really interesting book, and everything is described very beautifully.

When I'm stressed out I like to have a nice relaxing public shave. PUBLIC not pubic. However a public pubic shave would be relaxing in a different way, if you like that sort of thing.
